Connor’s CX4

I do, and I understand.

About My Project

This is a place to post about progress on my Thatcher CX4 project. Aviation is very expensive, so the CX4 fit my mission profile as an affordable aircraft to build and fly. It’s very simple to construct compared to other designs. I’m very happy with the construction techniques used. You can learn more about the Thatcher CX4 here.

You can see my physical build log (what I will hand to the FAA when it’s time for an inspection) here.

You can see my (redacted for privacy) Technical Counselor’s reports here.

Note: I am moving to California to work as a software engineer because unfortunately, building airplanes does not pay the bills. In the meantime, I’ll be working on my side project, the Warblers, a family of light sport aircraft to address some of the issues I have found with existing designs.

Ever since your goal found out that you were traveling toward it, it has been running to meet you.
